The current upgrade on car audio is really fast. To save budgets on the car audio system upgrade, it is better to know some basic manual work on how to uninstall and install the car stereo by your own. However, these processes are different for each car model. In this section, we provide the installation and uninstall guides for Nissan March Original Car Audio, in the hope of helping people upgrade their original car stereo system on their own.

Tools needed in this project:

  • A screwdriver;
  • A plastic knife (or a plastic ruler);

Notes on this project:

  • Pay attention to your own safety.
  • Remember to use the insulation tape to bind up any bare metal terminal;

Try to remove the original console panel with a plastic knife or a plastic ruler. It is better to pry gently along the gap and pick up the panel. Pay attention to the angle balance on both side and do not pry too hard, as the console panel may be broken. After the removal of the console panel, the front panel of the head unit will be exposed.

Step 2.
Remove the four screws.
