New Tax Law Will Be Implemented on Automotive in China

Right from January 1st 2012, a new tax law will be implemented on automotive in China, the State Administration of Taxation announced on their official website on December 18th 2011.

According to the statement posted on the website, taxes on vehicles using new energy will be reduced or even omitted under the new law.

This new law will encourage people to adopt alternative energy cars, and perhaps increase the sales on cars to some degrees as well.

"The current sales on automotive is really huge in China, as well as car audio," Joseph Lee said, a senior officer from Car Audio Group. "With the new law on taxation, more and more people will consider buying their first cars or even second ones."

Not only car sellers will increase their sales, but auto accessory sellers will be benefited from the new law.

"With huger demand on new cars, there is a good opportunity for auto accessory suppliers, such as an original car audio supplier who is selling car audio, car stereo, car radio and auto radio," Joseph said.

Joseph also pointed out that his team is working on some promotional plans to meet the new taxation law on automotive. They are planning to offer new models of car audio, car stereo, car radio and auto radio at discount prices.

“Besides discount prices, more plans are on the table to attract new car owners,” Joseph said. “We hope these promotional plans will achieve a successful sales campaign targeted at the new car owner market.”

Under the new taxation law, Car Audio Group foresees promising sales on car audio, car stereo, car radio and auto radio. The team believes most of these new car owners will adopt an upgrade on their car audios on the new cars.

“GPS navigators with auto radio are more popular in the current market,” Joseph said. “People prefer car audios with GPS navigator functions on their control panel.”
